# Does the Agent app use a lot of Internet data?

**Q:**\
How much Internet bandwidth does the Agent app use?

**A:**\
The Agent app is designed to use **very minimal data**.\
All data uploads are **compressed and batched** whenever possible to save bandwidth.\
Most uploads (such as location updates, logs, or settings) are only a few kilobytes per record.

For large data types (such as audio or media files), uploads occur only when Wi-Fi is available, unless you explicitly allow mobile data usage in **Sync Data Settings**.

> ***Tip:** You can always monitor or limit upload behavior using the **“Upload only on Wi-Fi”** option to reduce mobile data usage.*
